Game kit (on left), also known as Home kit: Maroon and sky blue shirt (Personalized shirt option is now available for purchase but layers can 'borrow' a shirt which has to be returned to the Club at the end of the season), blue shorts, maroon socks, shin guards and football boots.
Please note: It is not necessary for U6-U8 teams to purchase the blue game shorts for this season.

Game Day Field Set Up and Put Away:
For the U6 & U7 games, our MiniRoos Referee Coordinator will prepare the goals (smallest) and leave them near the shed (lower fields). When each team arrives, parents are asked to collect the goals and move it to their field. On completion of the games, parents are to please return the goals back to the shed.
For the U8 games, the Coordinator will usually get the referees to help him with the field set up, however it would be helpful (and very welcome) if parents could help out too. On completion of the games, the goals are to remain on the pitch for the next age group, U9 teams.
At the end of the day all goals are to be moved off to the side of the field by the last teams on each pitch.
Refereeing:
U6–U7 games are refereed by team parents, generally the team coaches/team managers (who are familiar to the players and lead the game).
U8 games are refereed by Referees from our Club Referee Program.
Match results and points tables:
The recording of match results should be conducted for the purpose of assigning teams to appropriate leagues, ensuring the most enjoyable experience for all players.
Points tables are not applicable in Under 6 & 7 football and do not exist. Match results will not be published publicly, however U6 & U7 team managers must report the match results to the Referee coordinators, at the bottom field shed.
U8 match results will be noted by the Referee and reported to the Referee coordinators.
Playing format:
| AGE GOUP | NUMBER OF PLAYERS | DURATION OF GAME | BALL SIZE | FIELD SIZE | RULES |
| U6 - U7 | 4 a-side with no goalkeeper | 15-minute halves Min 5 min half-time break | Size 3 | 1/8 of a full field size | Kick in from the out lines, no throw ins |
| U8 | 7 a-side with goalkeeper | 20-minute halves Min 5 min half-time break | Size 3 | 1/4 of a full field size | Throw Ins, Corner kicks, no offside |
Ground officials (U8's ONLY):
The U8 referees are called "Instructing Referees" (UQFC Club Refs are club players usually between 13-16yrs old), their role is to "instruct players in the correct way to play the game and help them enjoy the game". There are no linesman, which means it is impossible to make the right call all the time; and they do not hand out red/yellow cards should a player /parent behave inappropriately. In no instance should our UQFC referees have to confront aggressive behaviour from team officials/parents.
We are totally committed in supporting our UQFC Club referees and have introduced Ground Officials for all home matches. The role of the Ground Officials is to support the referees, should they feel intimidated/threatened in anyway. We ask that they keep an eye on proceedings and if inappropriate behaviour continues either on the field/the sidelines to address it with the coaches/field coordinators.
Referees will hand out a vest to a team parent prior to kick-off, these must be returned to the bottom field shed at the end of the game. We encourage all parents to share this responsibility and take turns. We do appreciate your support with this initiative.
Please encourage everyone to check the UQFC Majestri home page for the field status, which is normally updated at 3pm on training days. The UQFC Facebook page (@UQFCi) & the UQFC Majestri home page are regularly updated for weather and upcoming events.
