Generally, an offer of a place in a team at UQFC takes place from January onwards, and follows the process below. You may express interest for the next season at any time, and we will contact you when the registration process for the following season begins.
Any ongoing updates to registration will be posted on our Facebook page.
If you would like to play senior football for UQFC, you must:
Player fees include a compulsory club membership (as constituted). It is important to select the correct fee to complete your enrolment and subsequent registration in Squadi.
For players under 18 years of age, a membership will be issued in the name of their legal guardian, as identified in their MyFootball account.
For returning players - you are encouraged to complete enrolment and payment through the emailed invitation sent to you, and then to register online with Squadi.
Payment by credit card is available, and you may pay in person at our information days.
Do I need a photo?
All members are required to upload a passport style photograph when registering on the Sqadi. Your registration is not complete until this requirement is met. This is also required for coaches and team managers.
I'm under 18 - are there any special requirements?
If you are under 18, please bring proof of age so we can sight this at one of our registration days.
When I last played football, it was outside Australia. Do I need clearance?
Any member who last played outside Australia is required to complete an international clearance form. The club will submit this when you register online. Note that it may take up to 30 days for this to be approved.
I'm having problems registering with Squadi. What should I do?
Squadi has an online support centre that can help you with your enquiries.
We suggest that when contacting the Play Football support centre you have available your first name, last name, FFA number, date of birth, home address and the last club you played for.
This is a common question and one that is important to understand. Registration fees paid by players are made up of the following but not limited to:
