Welcome to UQFC

The University of Queensland Football Club Inc. (UQFC) is the largest football club in Queensland. We are nationally accredited by Good Sports Australia and the Football Federation of Australia for our commitment to healthy and active participation and high performance in Australian football programs.

We encourage all players and volunteers, from grass-roots to elite levels, to get the most out of this great game and to play the best football they can.

Our members enjoy the game from ages 5 to adulthood (and beyond), with all players joining teams ranging from junior participation and development teams, to the highest Premier & Metro League teams.

Most teams compete within Football Queensland Competitions, where we field both Men's & Women's FQ Premier League teams as well as our Senior Men's & Women's Metro League, Women's Legends, Men's Over 35's down to the U10 - 18 Junior FQ Academy, Development & Metro Divisional football programs.

Our junior community teams lead the way, with an inhouse UQFC Mini-Roos (U6-U8) competition before moving into the U9-U12 and Junior U13-U16 Girls & Boys competitions which play fixtures across Brisbane.

Safeguarding, Integrity & Welfare Officer

2025/26 - Joanna Cullinan

This role is key to ensure the highest standards of integrity, fairness, and transparency within the club.

Responsibilities include safeguarding the integrity of the game, promoting ethical behavior and addressing any misconduct or breaches of the prevailing Football Queensland regulations.

UQFC is committed to providing a positive environment both on and off the field. and to furthermore ensure that all players, coaches, parents, guardians, and officials embrace these values.
